Just watched the Lone Ranger for the first time on cable. It was FAR BETTER than I expected from reviews, box office and comments. I decided I would look at if for just 10 minutes or so to see what it was like. It drew me in and kept my interest the whole way through. Not the best Disney live action, but not nearly as bad as I expected. I really enjoyed it!

    :) :)

I would agree that it's not as bad as the perhaps the anticipation of it and the critics response.

I found the conceit of starting in the museum to be a bit odd, as well as Johnny Depp's Tonto. But I find it fairly fun too Roadtrip.

I've seen it twice now. Once in the cinema and once at home. The first time I didn't like it at all, but I gave it another try. I'm still not a big fan of it, but it's not as bad as I remembered the movie. If they would have skipped the museum part, it would have been shorter and better, because that scene isn't necessary for the movie at all.
