TIAHB my guys are healthy and I'm healthy too. Also, I'm excited to get a badly needed haircut tomorrow.
I am happy because my twins finally made their college decisions and I never have to suffer through that college admissions process again!
Today I am happy because people are posting on LP!!!! (It has been pretty lonely here.) Lucky you threeincollege! Two of mine did not choose (nor finish) college until their 30's. Even so, I was very proud and happy that they did it. DD1 is now a successful 5th grade teacher and mother of 3.
So, where are your kids going to go, if you don't mind me asking? I didn't realize the process was tough for parents. TIAHB we had a nice day at the zoo and a great swim lesson. And my hair no longer fits in in the 50s!
It's a nightmare. Son is going to Johnson and Wales in Providence RI to study finance, daughter is going to UC San Diego to study math. TIAHB for some strange reason my son decided to start cleaning his room. He keeps finding hilarious stuff he doodled in middle school, which he brings out here to the kitchen to show me.
I went to UC San Diego!!! Revelle College 2005 Biochemistry, and French Literature TIAHB we are all healthy again. And we plan to get a kitten tonight.
Today I am happy because in less than a month I get to see my grandchildren in Michigan. Once a year really isn't enough.
I am happy today because it's FRIDAY and we are spending a weekend in Long Beach, WA for Mother's Day with my parents.
TIAHB I am not at work. My job is pretty great, but the last two days were exhausting and I am working three 12s the next three days.
TIAHB I just finished a piece of lemon meringue pie and am moving on to a piece of sees candy next. Also, I got in a really nice workout this morning that coincided perfectly with my daughter's nap
It's Friday, and I'm going to McMinnville this weekend for Turkey-Rama and a little bit of decompression time away from work and home.
