I'd love to visit a Disney theme park covered in snow. Looks so beautiful.

It may look nice, but, I don't see a lot of people out there enjoying the place in freezing temperatures. I was there just last October. Unfortunately I only had one day, so I didn't get to see much. A lot was closed for renovations and other were just broken down. Three times I got in line for Ratatoullie and got within 20 feet of loading and it broke down. It also rained so it was a lot more gloomy looking.

I love all of the colors of DLP! The architecture over there is pretty darn amazing. I had a wonderful time when we visited last year. We need to go back because we missed out on a few things that were down for refurb...it's a good excuse for me to go back anyway...LOL!

Oh yes, that's a great excuse to return :)

Next year the park will look amazing for its 25th Anniversary, because of all the refurbishments that are currently happening.

Since I will not post any pictures in the next three weeks, I'm going to post three at once. One for each week :D

That sports bar has to be one of the ugliest designs at any Disney property in the world. And it's operated by Disney too, right?

There are plenty of other unfortunate design choices in various other locations (WDSP, All Stars in WDW, Disney Springs Westside, original DCA entrance, TDL's Spacejets area), but at least all of those appear to be intentional design choices, whether you like the aesthetic or not. This just looks like they had a leftover space that they didn't know how to use, so they used some bright paint and neon signs to try to hide that it just doesn't belong. It's not a very inviting space, and the dated design only makes it worse

It might not be the most beautiful bar, but it's one of my favourite Disney bars of DLP and WDW. It's always a lot of fun there with great CMs, it has a good beer selection and you can watch soccer. It doesn't have so many screens like US sports bars and so it still feels like a normal bar. The cocktails are very good and the outside seating area is also nice with the huge screen. You are right, from the outside it doesn't look very appealing, but the whole Disney Village looks terrible.

Yes, it is owned and operated by Disney.

That's good that they have good drinks and service. It definitely doesn't have as many TVs as a US sports bar would (it just sort of looks like a normal bar to me), but DLP tends to know its audience pretty well

I actually don't mind the overall look of Disney Village. Like some of the "ugly" parts of the US parks (particularly in WDW), they had a vision and stuck to it pretty well. It may not be the most appealing design by contemporary ideas, but at least it's pretty consistent throughout. The sports bar just looks like something temporary that ended up staying for 20+ years

I'm loving that snow pic of BTMR!! Definitely a unique version of the ride since it's on an island. I enjoyed it thoroughly when we visited last summer. :)
