Had anyone tried the ice cream nachos from Golden Horseshoe in DL? If so, what did you think? Good? Gimmick that won't last? Meh?

It looks like a triple scoop banana split sans bananas, plus waffle cone chips. How could it not be good?! I wouldn't call the dessert a gimmick, just the name.

Darn, now I want some ice cream, but I don't have any in the house.

I have not tried it, but there's no way that's not good. What's not to like??!!?

Sounds like an unfortunate combination to me, but that is probably just me.

Well I guess the price is going to determine if I try it or not next week.

I haven't been in the Golden Horseshoe since we lost the Billies. But, I think I would like it. I mean, it's ice cream. But I would like it better with a banana. Maybe buy a frozen one to have *on the side*.

  7. The "Nachos" are just waffle cone pieces. So it's really just a big ice cream cone sundae.

Thanks. Knowing that makes it much more appetizing. :)

  9. I'm not a big ice cream fan. It's not that I think it's gross, or hate it. But I never crave it, and when I eat it, I feel like I'm just going through the motions, not really enjoying it. If only I could feel that way about all carb filled junk!

    Amen to that!
Unfortunately, I absolutely love the stuff. And no *ice milk*, low fat, no sugar added nonsense. Give me frozen cream and sugar.
