That Rainforest Cafe in your first shot is gone! It was always my "stand in" Disneyland before I moved. LOL
I was thinking that! Not many of us look better. At least not the DH and myself. More that a *few* year ago. More recently.
I'm in my avatar, but here's one I took prior to park opening at the main gate. (I was first in line)
Is that Carlsbad in the background? Beautiful. Woops, I guess it's Portland. Sorry, just re-read your post.
He is 1.5 now and 96th percentile in height. It may be cliche, but they grow up so fast! Yes, tulip festival in Woodburn, OR. I attended some in Skagit Valley, WA before, but never in CA, Marlin.
They DO grow up fast. They always say, you turn around and they're grown. So, I unintentionally turned around. My youngest will be going into 8th grade next year. Blows my mind. When I saw the tulip fields it reminded me of Carlsbad, Cal, near Legoland. I loved taking the kids there.
And you don't get all that many shots at it. My children are both in there 40s now and my grandkids are hitting their teen years. Fortunately I have one granddaughter that is just 4 years old, so I still have a little one to play with, but, I'll blink and she will be grown up as well. Try not to ever look back and wish you had paid attention more during those years. You don't get them back.
Me and my guy in the Disney Dream Suite. It's the only part of the whole place they let you take a pic!! Pretty cool though...I recommend the Walk in Walt's Footsteps just to check it out.
