Thanks PNWTigger and Roadtrip for reporting them everyday. It helps.
Thanks Jim for getting rid of those so early in the morning. Have you tried the ban feature? I'm not sure if it gets rid of the profile. We seem to be a little limited in our abilities. We can only deal with threads and messages. I think there is a feature to make the capticha show a picture number so the bot has to figure out the number. The method of a checkbox saying I am not a robot is stupid. I think it is off by default but I have no way to turned that on. For some reason we have over 30K users. I think Doobie needs to purge it to people that have logged in since June.

There's gotta be a way to purge it down to the 12 active users. :)

The hitch with the purge is that it won't capture the stinkers that are spamming. It will just lower the number of active members which doesn't affect much...or does it? I always log in here when I come in to work in the morning to start my day off on the right foot...it's soooo much better with the spam decreased!! Thank you @phruby and @Jim in Merced CA for keeping our forums in line!

Thanks for the kind words PNWTigger!
It's much more enjoyable to not have to sift through spam posts.

They do use a new name every time they post something so it doesn't really help anything the end user would see.

I cannot express how grateful I am for the lack of SPAM! It is so much more enjoyable now.;) (I do wish there were more emoticons from which to choose.)

It was really strange. I have gotten so used to the lack of SPAM that when I got on at 4AM Sunday, just before leaving for Disneyland; I was shocked to see they are still at it. Obviously you are doing a tremendous job.

I still think an evil 3rd moderator would really shake things up.

In all seriousness, another mod does make sense if only just for coverage when people are not available due to vacation, illness, etc.
