He actually is a great guy and a great politician. I lived in Vermont during his rise and he was powerful. He beat out the "good old boys" to become Mayor of Burlington, Vermont. This is in Vermont and he was considered a socialist by the population, but, he was sincere and you could trust that he really believed what he was saying. However, it really was a long shot that he would win over the public especially with the tinfoil hat wearing contingency waiting for the mother ship to land. But, he did manage to make an impact and if he can convince his backers to back Hillary, he may very well have a big part in decision making in the future.

I think Bernie has passion and integrity - I just can't quite understand his economic plans. Free everything. No wonder the youngsters like him. :-/

I can understand that he feels that since we throw tons of money away regularly, like paychecks for congress, that the government should finance public education including college since society demands that level now. In the long run it would probably be a good investment in the future what with returns on tax revenues from a better paid populace, however, it is not likely to be. It's those points that stop him and give him the socialist tag. He has never really acted all that socialistic in any of his actual political actions in any office he has held. The talked it, but, never really pushed it other then theoretically. Just think if more people were educated and not totally ignorant how we might not be in the situation we currently are in.

BTW, does anyone besides me think that the day after the election there will be a major roundup of all those brain dead Trump supporters that have threatened to assassinate Hillary if she wins? Might even include the Donald himself, he sure advocated it strongly enough. That's illegal too! The next few months will determine if our republic stands or is taken over by the bullies that really have nothing to complain about other then the fact that they need to be on some medication.

Well that sure wouldn't play right into every suspicion, fear, and conspiracy theory that so many people have about a Clinton presidency at all.

Any attempt by any politician to "round up" dissenters would raise major alarms on both sides of the aisle. Yes, some of those people should be closely monitored, but I can't imagine anybody signing off on this sort of plan; it would be political suicide, and for good reason

It would be a problem to go after Trump himself, not impossible, but, complicated. I'm referring to those brain dead supporters that are so stupid that they go on camera and threaten a president. They have no massive bank accounts and there will be no such uproar about them.

Trump, if he loses, will be on the radar of every successive president until his death. Talk about having IRS problems. But, what do you do. Just suppose that the current audit that is going on finds something wrong. Are they going to have to suppress it and he gets away with it simply because he talked about a conspiracy? Would any of us get away with that? It may be difficult but, it would have to be something that has to be done otherwise we have no order, we have no fairness and we have nothing but pudding for a government. Tell me that won't be sending the wrong message. There is no obvious answer. Either way is trouble, so, it should be done in the direction of our laws and now our fear that some more brain dead people are going to get upset.
