Oh, I hope it is lots of fun. We used to go to the one at our local 6Flags. We haven't done it for a few years though.

Ireland! My daughter and SIL went there (it was a wedding gift from rich Irish relatives). They absolutely loved it.

Our fishing trip was fun and relaxing though we did not catch any keepers. Luckily, some nice guys near us gave us one of theirs so we got to have striper for dinner anyway. (Super yummy fish, striper.)
This Saturday we have a Halloween party with lots of friends. I am going as Eeyore.
Sometime during the weekend we need to buy 10 more bales of hay to make sure we have enough for winter.
We will also be carving the pumpkins we grew (all volunteer from last year's rotted ones) with the grandkids.

We board a plane for Ireland on Saturday morning. We don't get there until Sunday morning, but it is all worth it if I can figure out how to sleep on the plane. I figure a glass of wine never hurts, right?

Yes, wine helps! But I see an "I'm too excited to sleep" flight coming on.;)

Fall Festival this evening with family, painting in my studio, hopefully a little maternity clothes shopping... and I really want to get out and walk in nature for a bit. It's been too long!

OHH!! I just loved shopping for, and buying, and wearing, maternity clothes. And the fashions are so much nicer now.
I really loved the 90's when those maternity overalls were so popular. (Unfortunately, those were after my time.)

Magic Mountain was totally packed all day. Every coaster was an hour half because six flags cheeped out and ran one train on most coasters all day. The Jet Stream boats had three inches of water in them and only ran 13 boats. You got wetter from the water in the boat than on the floom. Food places had hour long lines that never moved. Even the women's restrooms had 20 minute waits. (they started using the men's side). Miserable day. However the mazes were half hour or less and fairly good. They are not in the same league as Knott's Scary Farm or Universal Halloween Horror Nights but they were good beginner mazes that my twelve year old daughter loved. Not too bloody. The Suicide Square scare zone was nicely lite but lacked characters. We did get to see Harley Qunn.

Sorry it was not as good as it should have been. Our local 6Flags is Discovery Kingdom where they also have animal shows and during Fright Fest scary or *magic* type shows. The sea lion show takes on a Halloween theme. So, if the lines are long for the rides, there is lots of other fun stuff to enjoy. And we always loved their haunted houses.
We haven't been for a number of years so it is probably more crowded now. They also would cut down on the number of cars on the coasters.

Coercing the DH to fix the floor of my bathroom cabinet. It slopes way down in the back and everything slides down there.
Then maybe, just maybe, going out to dinner for our 45th anniversary Sunday.

We haven't done the SD zoo in years. Not since our sons were Marines and got us great discounts! That and the Wild Animal Park.

There was a spell where I hadn't gone for a number of years as well; they have really added a lot of nice features and upgrades. Love the zoo!

That sounds lovely. Maybe we should all meet up for an unplugged weekend. :) I might be getting together with my friends to do a "sip & soak" at our neighborhood Kennedy School McMenamins to unwind a bit.
