Like I said ... When it happened, the headline would be more specific.

Oh great. This could turn into another big nothingburger, hard to say. No way any kind of thorough investigation could be done in 10 days, so this is just probably a giant cloud of doubt hanging over the election.

We could - possibly - be sooooo.... what's the word I'm looking for...??

Well, you can't say the weeks leading up to the election haven't been interesting. The question is, will it culminate in a cliffhanger on November 8th? Stay tuned.....

This election is more of a trick than a treat.

I feel cheated by my party. They can't even put up a decent candidate against the worst possible candidate the other side put up. Then they go and jump ship after the monster they created is destroying the town.

We are freaking out over three emails involving Weiner's wife who was also a Clinton aide?

Republicans immediately jumped on this as though it was a) directly related to Clinton and b) damaging. Neither has yet been shown to be the case.

If only the rest of voters could look at this as rationally. No chance anyone will wait for the facts, right? Just bulldoze through as if you have information you do not.
I just watched her news conference and, unlike Trump, she made perfect sense. Let us know what is actually going on!

Not as of yesterday morning, we weren't. Those facts have come out since then. (And where do we get the "three" thing? Haven't seen that one.)

And I don't know that you should stop freaking out yet, for two reasons:

    1) We don't know yet what the emails entail. Those who are assuming that there's nothing bad in them are just as guilty of wishful thinking as those who assume there is ...

    and

    2) Regardless of that, this story reinforces yet again the impression that Ms. Clinton exercises lousy judgment, including associating with assorted inept and unsavory characters.

I've seen several people on twitter making the joke that the Clintons obviously aren't killing off their political enemies, because Anthony Weiner is still alive.

The DNC is certainly to blame---and the media of course. Hilary has been running for the Presidential office for decades. And the DNC and media have played her up to that role since at least 2006. Obama was a surprising victor in 2008, but that didn't dissuade the Pro-Hillary camp and the media from presuming her to be the candidate in 2016---regardless of her lack of popularity. With such a longstanding setup, no other candidate could gain real traction, and no serious candidate entered the race. Sander did to some extent, but he never stood a real chance with the pressure propelling Clinton.

The only reason she had a chance at all, imo, was the fact that Trump was perhaps the worst candidate for the Presidency in American history. And they are neck and neck. Why? Because she is perhaps the second worst candidate in American history. This election in downright depressing.

She looked safe for a while. But now, now the spider is back to bite the DNC in the arse. And who have thunk it would be a Weiner?

I think there will have to be actual substance to hurt her. Trump supporters think this is proof positive she's Satan but will think so even if all the emails turn out to be Hillary asking Huma for the latest internal polling and nothing else. Or all stuff between Huma and Anthony with no Clinton at all.

Hillary supporters will say "where's the beef?" unless some beef is produced.

That leaves undecideds. Maybe I overestimate people, but I'd think that most would want something more substantial than the literal nothing specific that has come out so far. As a share of the overall vote I don't see this moving the needle more than 3 points. And she was up 7...

I would think we might see more swing than that in the short term and thus uncomfortably close polling for a few days before regressing towards the mean if nothing of substance is produced.

We probably won't see the emails before the election. The FBI hasn't even received a warrant to read them yet.

People who are undecided as of NOW? Yes, you overestimate them.

    Maybe so. We'll find out.

I do think it's incumbent on Comey, if he does indeed see the emails in the next week and finds nothing there, to say that there's nothing there.
