Here I found this Star Wars-Themed Lands Come To Life as Construction Progresses at Walt Disney World and Disneyland Resorts
I'm no Star Wars expert by any means, but aren't AT-ATs only used outdoors? It seems odd that the concept rendering video shows them inside some sort of spaceship or bunker. Then again, given the solid welded joint from the body to the head that wouldn't allow movement, it seems like the video takes a lot of "artistic liberties" I also think it's interesting that the tops of them will be so close to the ceiling of the building (assuming the roof framing is the same height as the section next to it). Assuming guests are viewing them from ground level, it will be hard to hide the ceiling just inches above That said, it's pretty exciting to see the beginnings of set pieces already! It's tough to tell the exact size, but it seems like they could displace the Zip-A-Dee Lady's reigning title for "biggest prop" in a Disney attraction
I have been watching the videos and pictures that have been posted over few months with the construction of the new land and attraction. I finally got to the park this past weekend and let me say that the videos and pictures just do not do justice to the size of this building. Those AT-ATs are huge. No wonder that they had to make the building around them.
