    We are just hanging out as our daughter's family is all sick.

    Sorry to hear about your family being sick.

    We had a fun Easter day here with a day out exploring in a forest. I built a fort and scraped my knee like I was back in school!

    Happy Easter to all of you!

    Is Easter Monday an official holiday in the UK or US? Or is it just a Catholic thing over here?

    I was born on Easter Monday. My parents just called it the day after Easter.

    I hope others did have a happy Easter. We are all sick, and I had to work on Easter also, and had a sad day Saturday. But hoping things can only go up from here. Dagobert, my husband's German company had Friday off, but most American companies do not have Friday or Monday off.

    Here in the UK we have Good Friday and Easter Monday and most offices close on both days.

    The Friday before Easter is a regular working day in Austria, but I know that it's a holiday in Protestant countries, like Germany with the exception of Bavaria.
