Rumour: Ropeway Coming to Walt Disney World?

The first support beam has been installed.

It clearly looks like a Doppelmayr beam. I was skiing on the weekend and the ski resort had both Doppelmayr and Leitner ropeways and the Leitner beams look a little bit different.

 

Lift Blog has speculated that they're using Doppelmayr's D-Line system, which will be the first one installed outside of the Alps. I'm not sure I know enough to tell the differences in which exact model they're using, but it sounds like you're definitely on the right track

As an Austrian it makes me a little bit proud that an Austrian company is doing such a big project for Disney. Doppelmayr already constructed the Hogwarts Express at Universal.

Now Disney only has to strike a deal with Red Bull to finally offer a decent energy drink and then three of Austria's most admired companies (Swarovski, Red Bull and Doppelmayr) would be present at Disney.

 

Unlike the monorail, I hope the doors close.
