It was not that many years ago that I said I would never pay more than $500 for an annual pass!!! Just wish our income was going up at the same rate.
So true. If Disney follows their regular pattern we will see another price increase in the fall. Anyone feeling physic want to guess how big of an increase we will see next year before Star Wars land opens?
Sigh. The only sure things in life are death, taxes, and Disney ticket price increases. I had already planned to make fewer visits to the parks this year, and this only seals the deal. It's increasingly difficult to find "value" in the prices they charging, for pretty much every ticket level I don't think they've done price increases twice a year for a while; it seems like it's just been once in the spring for a couple years now. They're usually around the same time, but I think this is the first instance where WDW and DLR increased their prices on the same weekend Disney gave a quote in the OC Register saying that they were planning on making some changes to the AP program soon, and specifically mentioned Star Wars in the explanation. Given that APs last for a year, I would expect the changes to roll out in the next few months, so that all of the 'old' APs (whatever that ends up meaning) will be phased out before SW opens early next year
