    'The Founder'
About Ray Kroc and how he ripped off the McDonalds brothers and created a fast food empire. Michael Keaton is excellent as Kroc.

    Let's last several I've seen

Doctor Strange-Fun movie great visuals. Still had the Marvel problem of a weak villian. B+

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them-I was a little underwhelmed by this one. Kind of missing that spark the HP series had. But Dan Fogel's performance pushes it slightly to me liking it. B-

Suicide Squad-I liked Margot Robbie, Will Smith and Jai Courtney in their roles. And I can say I liked the first half of this movie. But then it goes downhill with one of the most ridiculous villains I've ever seen. C

Independence Day:Resurgence-Speaking of downhill this is one achieves that from about the first frame. Truly one of the most awful times I've had watching a movie. F

The Founder-A real shame this one didn't find an audience in theaters. Keaton is terrific. A

Rogue One-I actually didn't see it until February but since I've seen five times since. I love it each time more and more. A

The Thing(1982)-An all time classic A

Finally saw Rogue One (The DH said, "That was not as good as I expected." To which I replied, "Funny, I was gonna say that was not as terrible as I expected.")

No snacks, it was after lunch.

Easily as fun as the first one. Good character development moments. And Baby Groot!

I attempted to have popcorn, but I think the dogs had more than I did

Not a bad movie. I enjoyed it, but was glad that I didn't pay the $$$ to see it in the theatre.

Really enjoyed it. Loved the nerdiness and the message.

Recently we saw Disney's Moana and I have to say it wasn't as bad as expected. In fact it turned out to be a lovely movie.

Nightmare Before Christmas on the big screen with friends.
I don't think there were a dozen people so Mary and I had a bit of a sing-along.
    FUN!

On the weekend we saw Disney's Frozen and Jingle all the Way starring Arnel Schwarzenegger. It is so weird hearing Schwarzenegger speaking English with his heavy accent. ven for the German versions of his films he gets dubbed.

Ready Player One - Glass of wine/fish & chips (Gotta' love Cinetopia!!)

Awesome movie! Very nostalgic to see a lot of characters/references to my childhood. I'm thinking this would be right up @phruby 's lane...or anybody else that is in the 40's age frame. I haven't read the book, but I will probably pick it up to check out the differences.

From what I have been reading the movie is extremely different from the book. That can be both good and bad. I'm still upset most of the D&D references are out. The part with the Lich King challenging the hero to Joust is gone.

Yeah...no real D&D references were noticed on my part watching the movie, and definitely no Joust part either (which would've been AWESOME!). I think if you're able to separate what you know of the book, and instead find all of the visual things that were nestled outside of the scope the book could encompass you would enjoy the movie. Great soundtrack too...they really pieced together the iconic soundtracks smartly throughout the movie.

A Quiet Place - A much needed glass of wine and BBQ chicken sliders

Pretty creepy movie. I found myself trying to be quieter than usual throughout the movie. People with popcorn were not munching as much or as loudly either. I'm glad I had quiet food. ;)

It looks like a good movie. I'll most likely be checking it out when it comes on the little screen....With wine, of course. Speaking of wine and movies, I watched The Greatest Showman on digital download. It's a musical about PT Barnum. My sister highly recommended it. I thought it was good. It probably would have been better to see in the theatres. I consumed 3 glasses of wine and a lot of popcorn. Michelle Williams....So beautiful. I loved her in Oz The Great and Powerful. Zendaya is a beautiful young lady as well.

I've been wanting to see The Greatest Showman. I'm glad you liked it. Why is it that wine always goes so well with movies?? :D

My wife and her mom went to see The Greatest Showman. The theater was having problems since the trailers kept repeating and the movie never started.
