Thanks, it is pretty stressful along with everyday stresses. I am getting to an age where I just want things to go smoothly. [IMG]

I know what you mean about a sick guy. Best wishes for his (and your) speedy recovery.

Sounds like the year can only get better....
As for me, I'm kinda glad the holidays are over and we're getting back to normal. I've found that taking Christmas decorations down is not nearly as much fun as putting them up.

I'm super cranky today...it's a culmination of starting a diet, tweaking my back, wonderful female issues, and attempting to schedule a vacation with my mom which started out as a 3-4 day cruise but morphed into a trip to Spain. Had to e-mail her this morning that I just don't think the Spain trip will work because it's just too much time off work for me, and she didn't tell me that there was actually going to be an additional day on there for travel. In a nutshell a 5 day travel/cruise turned into a 10 day excursion to Spain...I love my mom, but we tend to be an "agree to disagree" kind of relationship...I feel that it would be safer to take a shorter (less stressful) trip before going to Europe with her. Am I being crazy? Whew...okay...vent over...thanks guys!!:oops:

I'll do myself a favor and NOT chime-in on the female issues....But the diet and back issues--I can relate. Also, trying to plan a trip with someone else can be a problem, sometimes. At this time, a short trip to Spain sounds like a lot of work. I'd be game for a cruise where there's lots of food and fruity drinks involved....But, you might have to take a vacation from your diet.

My mom was able to just switch the trip over to my dad without a lot of muss and fuss. My dad is tickled, my mom is still a bit ticked, and I feel an incredible sense of relief. I should be off the diet bandwagon in a couple of months, so there is a light at the end of that tunnel. I'm going to try to find a friend to do the cruise with me. It's just tough since everybody is married with kids, and they are at the point where they are starting to save for college and not a cruise. ;)

What's that?! ;) My kids are on their own when it comes to paying for college. But then, my wife gets an excellent discount as a professor.

I'm thinking of jumping on that diet bandwagon too. I've been testing the waters the past few days. Last weekend I had some kind of 48 hour virus and it caused me to lose my appetite. So, why not keep the ball rolling?

Sadly, the front of the Castle is closed off so we could not dance our way into "When You Wish Upon A Star":(

Awwwww.....I hate when something like that happens and spoils a tradition. It became tradition for us to enter thru the castle and stop at Peter Pan first. But, the last few times, the ride has been so busy that we've had to skip it.

We skipped it the first day even though we had EE. The line was already excessive. We did Alice and Mr.Toad instead. On Saturday (when I was feeling MUCH better) and we had a FP for Indy to wait for; we actually waited 30 minutes for Peter.

I haven't had the opportunity to go on Peter Pan in a long time. The wait is just too much...especially for Steve who has a hard time in a 15 minute line...LOL! I'm contemplating a solo birthday trip this year, so I could wait in that line for as long as I wanted to by myself...hmmmm... ;)

When I have gone solo I get there early and find it easy to get through the crowd. Once it was such a slow day;I got through twice in 15 minutes.

If I go it would be the first part of April, so I'm not picturing crowds being that bad. I'm just trying to find a decent deal for airfare and hotel. I wish I were an AP, so I didn't think about how much the silly park tickets cost me each time I visit because it's generally about the same price as my airfare.
