I know that over December I am going to have the hardest time not looking at videos and reading reviews for Rise of the Resistance.

Who else here is going to avoid all spoilers about this attraction opening at WDW until ours opens?

It looks like we are either going to DLR or WDW in April, but I'm not sure that I will be able to hold out with not looking because my guy does not do so well with screen rides.

At the moment I am just as happy to stay home and ovoid the crowds. Anyone one want to take a guess how crowded it will be on January 17?

Is that the open date for RotR? I'm guessing it will be a cluster...

Yes,I might go just to see the long lines. However, they are saying that we will see the boarding pass system via the app used to cut down on the lines. We should get official news on that after the holidays.

We are almost a week away from getting our turn on this attraction! Who's ready?

I will be ready in April when we go to WDW. I am curious about the use of screens for RotR because my guy tends to turn a little green when it comes to rides like that. He has trouble with Star Tours and the Avatar ride...can't ride the majority of stuff at Universal anymore too. :(

Hmm. I could ride Body Wars without any ill effects. And the only ill effects I encountered with Mission:Space (full motion version) involved damage to something I was carrying, that was a bit too big for the stowage compartment.

I had more problems with "It's Tough to Be a Bug" than anything else. That and the "Borg" attraction at the old "Star Trek Hilton" in Las Vegas. Oh, and trying to squeeze my aging body into the submarine ride (I've ridden real submarines that were roomier [and had bigger windows]!) gave me a bit of lumbago.

I have not seen a single report of motion sickness on this attraction (@ WDW).

He got a bit green on Ratatouille in Paris, which is a similar ride mechanism (I think) but that had screens involved as well. We will just have to wait and see. Fingers crossed.

I'd rather wait in ten hour line for an adult circumcision with no anasthesia.
