You know the bit. Many, many years ago, the Gray Line/Gator Tours driver on the WDW-KSC run showed a Cosby video onboard, with that bit. I particularly liked the descripton of his wife's conniption:

Yesterday, I attended Easter Vigil in Seattle, then a service in Cambridge, MA, then one in Irvine, CA, and then one in Newport Harbor, CA.

Traveled around 6300 miles digitally, in under 8 hours. My bits are still tired.

That is pretty awesome. I watched some of the many services on TV; some with people sitting one to a pew and some with empty seats. It was a bit unsettling but at the same time comforting.

My daughter is making custom masks for the family.
Yes, she has quite a sense of the macabre.

COVID-19 self-isolation is finally starting to make it into the newspaper comic strips. Your "Walking Dead" masks reminded me of today's On the Fastrack: "cheerful Goth" Dethany Dendrobia and her graveyard shift security chief boyfriend, Guy Wyre.

Yep! I feel that if we do not keep laughing we will lose our minds.
(Of course all due respect to those suffering illness and loss.)

Decades ago, KTTV Channel 11 ran a tongue-in-cheek newscast (originally right after Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman, then after its talk-show spoof spinoff, Fernwood 2 Night), called Metronews, Metronews (or "MN2"). It described itself (in a bombastic voice) as "The little television news show dedicated to the big ideals of freedom and right: your right to know what's going on in today's world, and the freedom to keep laughing in spite of it." (Just about the only story from it that still sticks in my mind, after all these decades, is one on an Asian greengrocer named Dong Bang. It stuck in my mind because one of the anchors closed by remarking that if he were to take over a certain talent show created, produced, and hosted by Chuck Barris, it would become "The Dong Bang Gong Show.")

I agree...laughing is very important right about now. I'm also reminded of this song.

Don't pay too much attention to the video...just listen to the song. ;)

Hey gang. I know everybody is going a bit stir crazy at home, but as a front line employee who still goes to work every day I want to tell you guys thank you for doing your part in keeping me a bit safer as well. I'm not going to lie...it is stressful coming in to work, and I am a bit jealous of those that are able to work from home (like my current management). I unfortunately work in a part of town where the homeless population is seeming to take over a bit...tents on the sidewalks, no masks to be seen, no such thing as social distancing, and people like me are having to walk in the street in order to properly distance ourselves. Fingers crossed that when all of this is said and done that we as a society are more unified.

Thanks for letting me mini-rant...feeling much better now! TGIF!!

Be safe. I was furloughed, my wife took fmla to help with our dd waiver foster care since they were becoming too much to handle. We appreciate what you are doing for the country.

I am sorry you are having to deal with the public in that way. My grandson works retail and they have lines and arrows and signs that no one pays attention to. They ask customers to stand back and they cough. (Not all of them of course but too many.)
I really want to think that doing without and thinking of others will help us all in the long run.

Stay safe and our thoughts are with you. [IMG][IMG]
