Who went to the opening or plan on going soon?

I personally am going to wait a while.

I am with you. Shopping and dining out are not that important to me.

Ditto what you guys said. Not that important to me at this time either. I will admit that it would be nice to have a sit down meal outside of my own home, but the risk does not outweigh my want at this time.

I tried to go to DTD last week. When I got there they had closed the parking. I later saw a tweet saying that they close it from time to time. Does anyone know how long they close the parking lot? I left, should I have hanged around for 10 minutes?

I live too far away to go just to DTD even if I was so inclined.

Well I finally did it. I had Friday, 8/28, off work and I went down to DTD with with my wife. We got there early and had a wonderful time. It was not too crowed and I think that they did a great job of spacing everyone out. We did not go into the Disney Store because the line started at the main door (the DCA side) to the Pizza restaurant, turned around into the loading area then back to the ticket booths. I have no idea how long it would have taken to get back into the store. We only spent a few hours there but it was so relaxing to just be near the parks again.

If I were close enough I might consider visiting. Any Disney fix is better than none!! [IMG]

The date is still up in the air. It is between the state, county, city and Disney.
