The change at the top of the Space Needle is quite drastic, and I highly recommend spending the $$$ to do it if you haven't been up there recently. We grouped our ticket with the Chihuly exhibit which was beautiful as well.
We were planning to go to the top for appetizers and drinks on an LP meet some years ago. But one person (not me) chickened out due to fear of heights. So maybe we will make it up there with our daughter's family in the near future. Fun? fact! I have held a grudge against my poor grandma for these 60 some years. We were supposed to go to the World's Fair that year and she had a heart attack. So we had to go to Colorado instead. As a 9yo I just did not get that.
This has been one of my favorites since I was a kid when it was located up by the Oregon Zoo. It's down off the waterfront now...this is the new location.
Reminded me of Dinosaur National Monument where we try to stop every few years as we pass through Utah. Couldn't find a decent shot of it so settled for this.
