I find myself thinking of an old episode of Emergency!, in which, after "By the Book" Paramedic Craig Brice had antagonized the whole station over the course of the episode, Gage learned (and promptly shared) that Brice had been partnered with a Paramedic named Bellingham, the biggest slob in the department.

"Not 'The Animal'? They'll tear each other apart!"

Based on a Google search, I get the impression that there's been a lot of fanfic about that pairing.

 

I remember that episode, I think. "I bet he TKO's this guy." (?)

 

I'm more familiar with CHiPs. I went to girl scout camp with Eric Estrada's niece.

(I couldn't resist. BTW, FWIW, the TKO for my colonoscopy, through which the fentanyl and midazolam were bolused in, was Ringer's Lactate. Over the course of my three colonoscopies, the fentanyl dose remained constant, but the midazolam was ratcheted down by 1 milligram with each successive colonoscopy.)
