Now for AK, I would think AK would benefit from this industry system. It seems to me that AK would cause people to visit it first in the day and then hop somewhere else later. So in the past years I have never questioned the AK number. Now the EPCOT number I have always questioned because everybody and their brother knows that many folks come to EPCOT later in the day from already visiting another park.

It is not necessary for their financial statements to be useable by shareholders. OLC are obliged to release their combined numbers as the vast majority of their business is generated from TDR. OLC do not believe in releasing individual park results as I'm sure that would demonstrate how poorly TDS has done in the past few years (when compared to its initial success). And on the question at hand DAK has seen the largest uptick of the four parks this year by far. Everest has been a monster success.

I'm sure that certain teams within WDI could have easily spent $150 million on EE, and that the issues you mention above, and things like the blank backside visible from outside the park, would have been addressed. But the question is: would the incremental changes have been worth an extra $50 million? Now that it's complete, I'm sure it would cost less to address what turned out to be the shortcomings, but I doubt that all of these would have been predictable up front. These issues and probably a dozen others that were done economically that we don't happen to notice because they did a good job would have had money spent on them. But there's one more piece of the equation: <<< And on the question at hand DAK has seen the largest uptick of the four parks this year by far. Everest has been a monster success. >>> My guess is that Disney is very happy with the way EE turned out. From all accounts, this will be the biggest transitional step from turning DAK into a full-day park and seems to have had a great reception with guests. If they are able to get this formula to work repeatedly (be very cost-conscious but still come out with a quality product that's popular with guests even if a few people notice the seams), it will be the new model. And I suspect that the people able to pull it off will be rising stars within WDI and TDWC company in general.

Besides, it's a well-known fact that WDW's MK is the most visited theme park in the world. There's no need to publish numbers when you're the king. Thus, they also shouldn't publish numbers for EP, MGM, or AK because then they would be special and treated differently.

EE, which is a high-capacity ride, runs out of FPs as soon as or sooner than Soarin does, and easily reaches wait times of 60-120 mins or more! That def says something. Hopefully the new Asian restaurant and Nemo show will keep some people in the park longer as well.

I'll happily read your POV any time as I know it is backed up by a lot more logic and thought than the ramblings of some posters on LP.
