    Also, the AP center opens at the time the turnstiles open to the public, so basically not open during early entry, but open the rest of the time, including staying open after the park closes.

    unless discounts save more than the cost of blockout tickets (mostly hotel, rarely happens for this case)

    except if you're staying in a Disney hotel, you can still go to early entries no matter what type of ticket/pass you have.

    Could be wrong, though, as I've never stayed at a Disney hotel--I'm an area native.

    It has always been my understanding that you have early entry if you stay at a Disney hotel no matter where you bought the tickets. Because I know that you can still have early entry with an AP if you stay at a Disney hotel. You just have to bring your charge slip.
