Attraction Photos

    Cost so darn much?? I know that I can take a digital picture - print it onto an 8x10 sheet at home and it costs about 35 cents. Now Walmart has a kiosk - I think the 4x6 prints run about 13 cents apiece.

    I'm sure that it's "what the market will bear" (the same reason Popcorn costs $3.75 and a Soda costs $3). You think that if they made it more reasonable - a LOT more people would buy them (I might - but not at the current prices!)

    So no, Disneyland is not unusually expensive at all in this regard.

    I do agree that they're pricey, but they're honestly one of the best souvenirs I got. Very nice quality.

    I only buy the pictures when it's a memorable trip to Disneyland, someone's birthday, someone's first time, grand openings, etc. I buy one copy and then make the rest of the copies myself. They used to give out special folders with different themes according to the rides, but now I've only gotten a general 50th envelope, not even a frame-like one. I am a little disappointed in that one.

    Mr. Alice and I always make a point of buying at least one Splash photo on every visit - it's tradition now. We like doing silly poses, etc., so none of them are alike. :)
