When K and I ate at the Biergarten a few years ago and we had a nice meal and a nice visit with our table mates. I think it helped that we were seated with two smaller groups instead of one family. The oompa band was fun too. Of course as people of German extraction we really enjoy the food there, but it might not be suited to other pallets (vegetarians and pescitarians (sp?) need not apply).
