What else can I get for being there on my birthday?

I paid for my two daughters to participate in the courtyard while my husband and I took photos from the outside gate. It is a great memory.

Don't count on Rainforest Cafe to do anything great for a birthday celebration in downtown Disney. We were really disappointed with the hosts for not assisting us in singing to my daughter or bringing out an ice cream treat that they had promised.

If you go to City Hall you can pick up your birthday button and the CM are great at wishing you a happy birthday. We were on "It's a small world" getting into the boat and a cast member wished Sarah a happy birthday over the loud speaker. At Build a Bear they sang to her as well.

Hope you have a special time.

But by not having them, getting random surprises here and there from CMs makes the visit a bit more magical.

Good luck on your visit SteamboatPhillie. Make sure to take a deep breath, stick out your chest and let that birthday button be seen when coming across a CM! ;)

I also got the free dessert at the Blue Bayou and was given waterside seating even though our reservation was for 15 minutes after opening, but I believe DH put in a special request.

I also got balloons and an autographed photo of the fab five at PP Hotel.
