When did they install the mini-grocery store? Saw bread, bananas, other staples, all at fairly cheap prices. Have to walk past it to get to the discontinued T-shirts, toys, etc. And really, if you feel so bad for your employees that you need to sell them discount groceries, why not just bump up wages?

Since Disney will pay me 100 bucks to get a healthy/healthier BMI this year- Its nice they provide more cost effective options to help get there :)

But forget about rice and charging CMs for food that in the past would have likely been donated to food banks.

Instead head on down to the TDR Board and join in the fun as a Spirited Tokyo Adventure continues.

What are you waiting for? What has WDW got to offer you these days? Have they raised prices, cut quality or somehow Walmarted more since I left FLA?

I'm sure they have. So ... read all about a resort where quality really does still matter ... because ... wait for it ... it isn't based on timeshares, developing all the land that old man Disney wanted to set aside for BIG things and operating the largest hotel chain in Orlando.

..And up to WDW in 17 days. Just for the same reasons you still do. It's a great place to have fun and be with the people you like to be. It's a great atmosphere, but yes, it does have it's issues.

---- it Would be if the market was there- and likely will become a part of the picture when it is deemed viable. I don't think there ar any laws against profit making in HK. In the meantime I am glad the quality is very good though

btw - even with price increase Bay Lake projected for sell out by May...

Seeing what Universal is considering, the numbers ARE there.

If the other parks can invest, but people have been hypnotised with staying with the mouse, then they still win. Personally, I would rather stay at the new Marriott Lakeshore Reserve resort, or Grande Vista, maybe the Ritz Carlton, Gaylord Palms or one of the other 5* resorts that are still cheaper than a Disney moderate at times.

Wait, I'm confused. LOL. I wasn't asking if YOU were being truthful (which would have implied rudeness, and I want to apologize for accidentally coming off that way... :-( Sorry! ) I was just wondering if you had heard that somewhere, seeing that's exactly what the buzz is on some other sites.

    Sorry, Bobbe! :)

Why chagrin? Competition can only help both resorts if they act in accordance.
