Originally Posted By wendebird I agree with SuzieQ. The closer you get to Christmas vacation, the busier it will get. Keep in mind last year (2005) was the 50th celebration, which caused large crowds, even on weekdays in September! This year "should" be different.

Most rides in the morning were walk-on, afternoon-evening the longest wait was probably 30 minutes (stand by). The week you chose is fine. Most schools are still in session and you're going smack dab in the middle of the week. Now the following week, all bets are off but it looks like you'll miss the brunt of it. Enjoy your trip!

Sounds like it was just bad timing on our part, we should have waited a week! I really don't mind waiting to get on a ride, but having the park closed because of heavy attendance was a bit of a surprise.
