We are looking at going Dec. 13 - 16 this year, anyone have any prediction on crowd levels?

Keep in mind last year (2005) was the 50th celebration, which caused large crowds, even on weekdays in September! This year "should" be different.

Does anyone know when the candlelight processional is this year? I kinda hope that I miss it, jut because of the crowds.

The week you chose is fine. Most schools are still in session and you're going smack dab in the middle of the week. Now the following week, all bets are off but it looks like you'll miss the brunt of it. Enjoy your trip!

I really don't mind waiting to get on a ride, but having the park closed because of heavy attendance was a bit of a surprise.
