On a day when the world celebrates a symbolic victory over discrimination-the election of a black president-we show that we've just moved on to a different group of people to discriminate against. Again, congratulations. Way to go.

Hopefully this'll hit the supreme court after President Obama has appointed a reasonable judge or FOUR, and they can take care of the issue appropriate to the workings of a FREE country. That's all I've got to say on THAT.

Screw them. They lied, they cheated they twisted facts all in the name of a warped God to further their own bigoted, shameless goals. There's a special place in hell for people who lie in the name of God. They're going. With 100% reporting and over 2.6 million votes cast, it passed by less than 21,000 votes. The percentage was 50.4 to 49.6. We'll have to see if there's a recount. Meanwhile, for me, my views on church and orgnaized religion are forever changed. I'm convinced one of the biggest threats our society faces comes from within, specifically the faction of the Mormon church that supported this ban. Moreover, any faction anywhere than poured money into hate. Karma can be a bitch, and they're about to find out how bad it can be.

Just depressing that so many people are proud of their bigotry (as we've clearly seen here) and sad that so much time, energy and money that will be used just to give all citizens the equality they deserve.

Maybe some of their hate money will go towards something good.

Josh and Elderp don't care about them, I suppose. Their marriages are now safe from the boogeyman, and that's all that matters.
