I had one were I was trapped on Tom Sawyer's island after the park closed. The last raft was long gone and I was being chased by a bear.

A maid handed the hostess a note. The music changed to something ominous- the note informed her of a curse put on the whole party by someone who held a terrible grudge. When the clock struck 12- or 13- the room reached the top- and shuddered violently. A few seconds passed- and then the whole room shot down super-fast- like the Tower of Terror. And then- I woke up.

More from the twisted midnight fantasies of Bellella- taken from what she can remember from her dreams- on demand.

ORGOCH: Oh, yeah? After knowin' what ya look like and seein' what yer fav'rite man in a loin cloth looks like, it ain't no surprise he'd be shootin' 'blanks'!!!

The dreams would often include other dream standards like running very slowly, trying to get to a place but never getting there, teeth melting or falling from height. For example, I would have dreams where I went to Disneyland with friends but couldn't get on any rides and became very frustrated. In the dream I would try to run but would move in slow motion.

In another dream, I would be standing in line for what is understood to be Space Mountain, but there were clearly many opportunities to fall to your death, like lack of railings and narrow walkways high up in the air. Weird stuff, but in the dream it was "understood" to be normal and I would be the only one afraid of falling. Of course, when you do fall you wake up.

Then I woke up and watched "Alice in Wonderland" that morning.

So how can you physically feel things happening to you in your dreams while you sleep?! Doesn't make any sense.

The weirdest dream I had was one where I was riding the Tomorrowland Starjets up on the pylon (where they belong!), and I was gripping the lift arm with my feet and rotating head out, no safety, no belt, nothing. It seemed odd (and dangerous!), but since everyone else was riding that way it must be OK!!!

Probably 2 or 3 times a year I have Disney park dreams, and they're always very strange.

    Yeah, me too.

I'm almost always in New Orleans Square, for some reason. Seriously, out of all my DL dreams over the years, probably 8 out of 10 has been in NOS, totally or partially. Matterhorn comes in second.

    I don't know why.

The thing is, I'll accept the "this isn't quite right" thing for a while... but if my brain starts to figure out that it's too off to be real, and I must be in a dream - that's when I'll wake up.

Or a version of my recurring dream where me and the kids are about to go on a ride that they need buckled into, and I can't get the buckle to close and it's about to take off! I hate that dream. I've had it several times, and it doesn't just occur in dreams about Disneyland.
In the dream, I JUST KNOW that if I don't get them strapped in they will fall out BUT I CAN'T GET IT TO WORK!!! AHHHHHHH!!!!!

I've had a couple of dreams where I knew I was headed to DL, but I was running in slow motion and couldn't go any faster!
