My husband is from Ohio, and had never been. When our daughter was 3 we took her. He was not that interested in DL (nothing compared to Cedar Point in his opinion). Well, he is now hooked. He is probably as big of a fan as I am. We try to go a few times a year. And my 9 year old is still excited to go. I will try to continue what my grandparents had started. Next week my sister in law and her family (from Ohio) are going with us to DL. It will be great to see my nephews experience it. Although, they are under the impression that two days will be more than enough. I love the trip report section and will try to post on our trip next week.

As an adult I've travelled a lot, and whenever work brought me anywhere near SoCal I'd always extend my stay so that I could get a bit of a Disney fix. My older brother has it worse than I do - he took a job there about 18 years ago and is still there, selling clothing at the Rushin' River store in DCA, happy as a clam!

Since then I have been every year of my life (I am 25)..since getting married at 20 I started taking my husband, at first he didn't think it would be fun because he went when he was younger and didn't have fun. When we went for our first anniversary and he loved it and didn't want to leave YAY! Now we talk about how much we love it together. When my son was born in 2003 we waited until his first birthday to take him, so he got to celebrate his birthday at Mickey's kitchen with all the characters singing him happy birthday..one of the greatest moments of my life. Then we took him back again in March of last year for his second trip and for our wedding anniversary..now here we are going in 4 days for our 5th wedding anniversary, and my sons 3rd trip (he is now 2 1/2) I am happy to say this will be my first ever time going 5 days to the parks!!! The longest we have ever been able to go is 3 days so 5 days is going to be so much better. As for when I was younger I have alot of fond memories going with my parents on Its a small world, and going with my dad on Big thunder mountain railroad

My Grandma lives just 5 minutes from the park, so it was always a cheap vacation for us to drive from Tucson to Anaheim and stay with Grandma. We would always go 1 day to Disneyland and 1 day to Knotts Berry Farm. We're in Denver now, but I never let a year go by without heading out to visit my Grandma and now take my son to Disneyland.

I moved to Florida to work at WDW and then moved back to California last year, to Anaheim !!! Now I go two times a week instead of two times a year.

The knot came undone right by the castle. A nice lady tried to catch it for me, but alas it escaped her as it had escpaped me. Everytime I see a rubber Mickey Balloon I wonder who is missing thier balloon. Walter
