Sorry, English is my second language so sorry for mistakes.

The Mighty Microscope from Adventures Thru Inner Space makes an appearance in the Death Star. ATIS was in the space where DL's Star Tours is now, and featured guests 'shrinking' to the size of an atom. The Mighty Microscope was in the queue/loading area, approximately where the Star Speeder is now. It was included in the original Star Tours, just before flying out of the warehouse at the beginning. In the new version, it is inside a tunnel on the Death Star, on the left side.

The woman who did the pre-show video announcements is included in the updated version. Instead of hosting, she is a passenger in the Star Speeder, the mother of a boy with a camera. I assume that the Japanese version of the attraction will have a different safety/loading video, due to language differences.

The Tokyo version of the attraction has a much larger queue than the American ones, so I'm sure there will be a lot of differences there. I haven't heard any details, but it sounds like there's a lot of good stuff!
