Is there an option for an adult to just go in to supervise their kids and not play anything?? I'm really not interested in doing any of the stuff I see listed, no matter how cool it sounds. I still have to pay? Also, how crowded is DQ during the day? Do kids have to wait to do things? Is DQ worth the money? Is the place loud inside? I've been to some arcades were I go crazy after an hour because of the sounds and noise bombarding me. My older one is into all things video and destructive ( blow-em-up, shootem-up games). Does Disney have those type of games there, are are they tamer? God, I hope so....
    Thanks for any info.

It can get a bit crowded here and there but there is so much to do, I'm sure it'll be fine. I had to wait for the popular things but overall, no big deal. A little wait, but everyone was curtious and shared.

Otherwise, it's a dark, loud, arcade that has little to offer for adults.

Most of the games are rated E (for everyone). If you want to avoid the few fighting games they do have steer clear of the back hallway of the 3rd floor (behind the mighty ducks pinball game)

Decent sandwiches, yummy fries and nachos... some other appetizer type foods. A little pricey but not bad. There's also a little italian place with panini and pizza/pasta. The panini are pretty good.

    WARNING: WARNING: WARNING: WARNING:

The building is 5 levels and there is no real set rhyme or reason to the layout, ergo, its very easy to get LOST or atleast separated from your kids.

    This isn't a huge problem HOWEVER>>>

The central level that you enter on is NOT the only way out of the building. It SEEMS like your kids would have to walk past you to exit but this is totally NOT the case. There is a hallway on the bottom floor that leads into a store and right outside and you don't have to take the elevator to get to it.

When we were there a 5 or 6 year old girl came up to me and my 10 year old son and asked if we could help her find her mom and dad. We are on the bottom floor, there are games on all floors, and as a parent I was freaked out that she was not being watched closer than that. I guess I am paranoid.

Anyway we took her to the central location where you enter and sure enough there were mom and dad sipping coffee talking. A very confused man stood when we came walking up with his daughter and until I explained he was not a happy camper. He said,"Holy ____ I thought this was the only way outta here!"

Other than that have a great time, we ended up at DQ almost every night till midnight.

A 5 year old...that's crazy! If I decide to go I'll definitely go in the morning when it first opens...and I'll look into that park hopper plus info to see if it makes sense to get it.

And some of the VR elements cant be found at arcades, such as Virtual space mountain, Virtual Jungle Cruise, Pirates, Ect. Learning to draw the characters (like at MGM) is fun too. I enjoy disney quest and think it's not a bad value when compared to the amount of money spent at a video arcade or a place like gameworks or videoquest.
