Reality TV is all that is on TV anymore, so I canceled our cable because our kids were the only ones that ever watched the TV, and they can get the same stuff on Netflix for a tenth of the cost. Of course, I'll occasionally see a reality show here or there, it's on Netflix and my daughter dreams of being a cake decorator some day so she watches Cake Boss, lol. But I can't watch that show, or any reality show without truly being sickened by how horribly fake and transparent it really is. I mean, that family on Cake Boss, they aren't actors, by any strech of any imagination. So if you put them on a "reality" show, give them lines and scenarios to play out, it won't come out to convincing in the end.

So I try to never, ever start watching in the first place. hahaha

Can't help but wonder why you would do a rant about how fake reality TV is, while sitting in front of a green screen. Which sums up the frustration I feel about ALL of America rather nicely.

But that's a different situation which should never be tolerated. Also there should never be laws passed which favor a particular religion's beliefs. The separation of Church and State needs to be upheld.

And sorry, but most southern religious fundamentalists tend to think much like Phil. Makes me proud to be a Catholic living in a sea of right-wing conservative protestants.

After all, the things he had to say have already been said by many others before him.

The fad will be short lived. In a few years they will be mostly forgotten, replaced by the next fad. Now get out there and buy some DD cammies, a lunch box for your kid, the DVDs, some plushies, and whatever else they're selling.
