give me a break, an entire store is already dedicated to this four-pawed imposter in cape cod - now he's moving into other shops?! might as well kick out mickey and just call the place "Duffland".

Does anyone else share my disdain?

Another very nice store, Steamboat Willie's, which use to have all sorts of unique classic/retro Mickey merchandise, has also been reduced down to just another common merchandise store. :(

Personally, I *love* Duffy. I think it's great that they were able to start a fad like that. But, I'm disappointed to hear that he's now infiltrating the other areas of the park. That's one thing I liked so much about him: he was incredibly popular, despite being available only at a single retail location in the park. If he now shows up everywhere, it removes the uniqueness of it. It might also be a signal that he's advancing to the final stage of popularity, and will soon be last year's news, so they're trying to milk it while they can.

The way I see it is that most of the TDS merchandise is very much the same now days. All the unique items are slowly being phased out. The Duffy stuff is easily the most popular merchandise line at the park. So it makes sense to me to see more shops sell the Duffy brand. TDS still has plenty of shops at the park where Mickey stuff is sold in large numbers. The one thing I don't get about the McDuck store selling Duffy merchandise is that your still unable to pick up the Shelley May goods. And only Aunt Peg's sells Shellie May.

It certainly doesn't help that OLC doesn't care about the complaints guests have for the Duffy design change in the "My Friend Duffy" show. -- MagicalNezumi

With the Japanese having love and affection for Disney Bears like Duffy and Pooh it can only be a matter of time before Lotso makes his TDR debut. I certainly don't think his debut should be held off until Toy Story Mania opens in 2012. Talking of TSM, anyone want to take a guess that it will open on March 20th 2012.

What's special about that date? Based on history, I'd say that April 1 or April 15 are much more likely dates for an official opening.
