I was talking to the manager on Wednesday and she was telling me that in order to get one of the 100 'free with purchase' Force Awakens pins, I should probably be in line some time before the store opened at 7am on Friday. On line it said the store was opening at 6am. I work from home on Fridays, so I was considering stopping by, but couldn't be there before 7. I got up early, did my work, headed to the mall and was at the store by 7:10. No what I found? Nothing. There were only about 8 people in the store. Most of the merchandise were the diecast toys with a few tee shirts and light sabers. I picked up a diecast TIE fighter, got my pin and was back home by 7:40. It just so happened I met my son for a late lunch at the mall, and at 3, they were still giving out the pins. Doesn't sound like they got the crowds they were expecting.
