    I'm new here so maybe I've missed this discussion, but are there no more french fries at Disneyland? I tried to get some at California Adventure today and there were none to be had at Award Wieners. I went across the way to Coke Corner - no fries.

    I know the fries were getting icky because transfats have become illegal, but does this mean that fries have been discontinued altogether?

    First, "Light" lemonade and now this.

    *sigh*

    I hate it when "they" know what's "best" for me.

But at the restaurant chains every where, they don't bother me. They should atleast give people the choice to buy fries though.

    The Stage Coach Cafe in Frontierland has fries, too, at the windows to the right of the Golden Horseshoe. They come with either chicken strips or fish strips, but being the vegetarian that I am I usually order them on their own. They have good dipping sauces there too, like honey mustard and barbeque sauce.

    If you love garlic on your fries, you need to go to Cafe Orleans. They're not greasy. That, and a bowl of french onion soup. Yummy. Nice and light. That way, you can justify another dinner somewhere else later on in the evening.
    But, like I said, you must love garlic, or they will be much too overpowering for you to enjoy.

    Hope you like it. They also give you a nice dipping sauce for the fries. It takes away some of the garlic-overload. But, make a reservation before you go, or early in the morning.

    I found out on our last trip that the fries at Award Wieners are now gone. They had the BEST fries at the resort. They were the thin kind. Now, for the same price all you get is a small bag of chips. ;(
