    First, check into the hotel. Explore a little, get everything in order and get freshened up.

    Then, dinner at Chef Mickey's. Food is pretty good for a propety restaurant, and it has a really fun party atmosphere. Plus, if you get the right seats, there's a pretty good view.

    Finally, we always like to wrap up the night with a round trip on the monorail. We usually try to time it so that it's still light when we get on, but it's dark by the time we get off. Sometimes, we get on late enough to watch the fireworks as we go by the MK.

    It's a great way to get into the Disney spirit without wasting a ticket for only a few hours' admission.

    Chef Mickeys wasn't so great on my last outing, nothing was filled properly in the salad bar (pretty barren). The chocolate mousse cake is also no longer there. I've been going since it opened, and I don't have any plans to return.

    On the other hand, it was fun (same as always!)

    After we get our ears and we catch our daughters favorite rides we are heading over to the 50's prime time cafe. We love it there its a great way to stat off our 9 day trip. We figured we could catch part of the Osborne lights too. Then back to the beach club for a stroll over to the boardwalk. I can't wait.
