I agree, I57. It is consistantly enjoyable.

I am grateful for the cardboard cutouts as characters because I can ignore the story lines and concentrate on the music. As I think about it, that is what I did when "Fame" was a series. Although those characters had more depth.

I didn't realize that this was the season finale, but it seems like it wrapped it up well. There were a lot of really great moments throughout the show. I really liked getting to see the other side of several characters, and it did a good job of wrapping everything up for the season.

I thought that Vocal Adrennaline's performance was well done, and a very interesting way to parallel that. It's definitely something that I would have never thought of, but extremely well done. They managed to wrap that part up pretty well, while still leaving lots of room for more to happen with it next season. I'm interested to see how the relationships change with the new developments, so I'll be looking forward to that when it starts up again (in the fall?).

It looks like until then, they will be reshowing the first season on Thursdays, so that will be a nice change.

And singing "To sir with love" was very moving. My college room-mate and best man was a HS vocal teacher for 45 years and he is fondly remembered by hundreds of former students that way.

Just last week my second daughter, HS class of 1982, met her former teacher and some of the glee club members at dinner. They ask him to join them like that a couple times a year.

The ending of the season was very sappy, but enjoyable.

    Suspension of disbelief anyone?

Given that they manage to learn and choreograph really difficult songs on a moment's notice, I have no problems with how quickly Idina made her decision. I know that the timing doesn't really match up with what was going on at regionals (since Mercedes and Puck were back in time for the announcement of the winners), but I took the birth/Bohemian Rhapsody montage/mashup as more of a parallel in theme and action than actual timing. But given how quickly the characters have really dramatic personality changes, I saw that as nothing out of character for the show.

I hope we actually get to meet Rachel's adopted dads next season.

    GREAT STUFF

I didn't really care for the Vocal Adrenaline performance...but then again I never liked the Jesse St. James character. He always was a "slow" part of the show for me.

Loiked the Journey medley and quite happy about the John Stamos announcement...him and Emma should do a Full House theme song duet :)

Nope - my brother even caught that reference!

    Yeah, he's no Freddie Mercury!
