    years ago, when we went to dl, we had to make reserves for seating for the show at the golden horseshoe. is this still the recommended plan to go at the time you want? you would have to go the the horseshoe box office right after the park opened and put your name in for the show that you wnated. no cost or anything, just a reservation to get in and have a seat. what do you seasoned veterans know about this?

    If you want to sit up close or in the balconies, you will need to sit outside awhile before they let people in, if it is a busy day in the parks.

    Either my wife or I pull up a spot on the benches there right outside the Golden H about an hour beforehand.

    The first show of the day is very easy to get into. I wait maybe 20 minutes outside before they let you in. I prefer the front row seats as opposed to the "box" seats on either side of the stage. Although when you get those seats, you may get into the act! Gotta love those Billies........
