    Any information would be helpful.

<<Busiest times: Disneyland is busiest in summer (between Memorial Day and Labor Day), but it can also be crowded on holidays (Thanksgiving week, Christmas week, Presidents' Day weekend, Easter week, and Japan's "Golden Week" in early May) and weekends year-round. All other times make up the off-season. During the busy summertime, Tuesday through Thursday is the best time to come; Friday and Saturday are the most crowded days.>>

Got this from a Disneyland for Dummies site...(what does that say about me, I wonder).

My best advice is to echo the incomparable advice I've read many times on this gift of a site called LP: relax, enjoy the experience (even of a line), let go and just do the best you can. Hit Fantasyland first and as early as humanly possible (no fast passes) and then get your "musts" out of the way.

Be one with Disneyland. Be one with the crowd. :)

Hope you have a lovely, lovely time. Sayonara for now!

I doubt you'll notice a big increase in the length of lines. But there will be a bump in attendance.

The good news is that since the extra people at Disneyland during Golden Week are all Japanese, they will be very polite, will not be obnoxious or bring unnecesarry attention to themselves, will follow every rule or request. They will also not demand special attention or courtesies because they are.... Premium Annual Passholders, or Been Coming To Disneyland For Forty Five Years, or Staying At The Grand Californian, or Know Someone Who Works In Burbank, or Are Wearing A Birthday Button, or Paid A Lot Of Money To Get Into This Place.

Westsider, I think you should apply for trademarks for the above categories of obnoxious guest! :)

You are absolutely correct, Japanese people are always "on their best behavior" when visiting other places.

However, you should see them "at home".

At TDL, it's an ENTIRELY different story...you get all that and more!

Aside from the passholders with attitute, and the birthday button brigade, you find such fun guests as "That Little Kid got one, Why can't I?", along with "Sits in the Same Place all day, every day, to watch Favorite Parade", "Runs Down own Grandmother to get a Fastpass First", and, of course "Carries Around a Dozen Filthy Plush Disney Dolls for no Discernable Reason" can be found every day! :p
