Fill up a plate with them. The three flavors meld together really well. Bacon Wrapped Dates. Take a half pound or pound of bacon and slice the strips in half. Take a date and stuff a whole, blanced almond inside. Place the date on one end of a bacon strip and roll it up. Secure it with a toothpick. Place on a baking sheet so that the toothpick lays on its side. Put under the broiler for about 2 to 3 minutes and then pull out and flip over the little rolls so the toothpicks are laying on the other side. Broil again. These are really wonderful. People are always surprised when you tell them its a date inside.

Place cheeses & yogurt in a mixer bowl, crush all of the garlic into the bowl. Mix together on low speed until softened, and then whip on high for a minute or so. Mixture should be easily spread. Spread dip out into a 9 inch pie plate or 8 inch square pan. Sprinkle all the veggies over the top of the dip and, voila. Done. If you want it spread a little thinner, you can use a 13x9 pan, but you'll probably want to chop up more veggies to cover it. It is best served with Wheat Thins too, but also works with plain tortilla chips (not the cheesey kind, eww) Enjoy, but remember to bring the mints.

If you have a Costco near you they have some realy great mini quiches and fillo dough truffle hor's devores and if you don't eat meat (truffles aren't meat but some people consider egg products meat) I would do some bbq tofu or cheese flatbread au gratin (flatbread baked in the oven with whatever ingredients you have left.. grated parmesean or olive slices.. or bits of tomato diced) have some olive oil or pesto oil on hand for drizzling or some light greek dressing. As someone else suggested TJ's (trader Joe's) makes really great stuff like the Gyoza or veggie potstickers with minimal preperation (ie: it's not a recepie but requires some cook time to serve). If you have a costco or something near you they have pinwheels and cream cheese and salsa and other yummies.. I try to avoid the cream puffs and cookies but they also have mini muffins which, while not a appetizer they are good for throwing out on the counter for last minute breakfast treats for relatives.. OH! I almost forgot.. TJs has some really good soy-rizo (like chorizo only soy) taquitos.. those are great for appetizers too! =)

When I worked in the service deli at Staters I was the one in charge of making everything in the display cases and that included the dip that guaranteed sold out every day. I then started making it for holiday get togethers and everyone seems to like it. At least I walked away with something tangible from that place, LoL.
