Originally Posted By haiderodes I did my Grad Nite at DLR back in June 2001. The park opened its gates at 11:59p and closed at 6a. Busses start arriving in the Timon lot as early as 10p for Grad Nite. At a specified time, busses are boarded by CM's that give a rundown of rules and allow the kids to walk to the esplanade in a smooth fashion using the tram lane. In addtion to Grad Nite itself, DCA is also home to Blast Off parties for some schools which is like a mini Grad Nite, for a couple of hours before Grad Nite begins.
