They also serve appetizers. That way you can enjoy the ambiance without the pricey dinner. When the Hearthstone Lounge is full, I usually take my drink out to the lobby. There are great conversation areas where larger groups can enjoy visiting. The inside and outside fireplaces are another option. Third, you can take your drinks to the 5th (?) floor patio above the lobby and enjoy them with a view over the pools.

So if you want to take a drink to your room, you can use "glass", and then just leave the empty glass in the room, and it will be returned by the maid to the lounge. If you want to take the drink to the pool area, then you ask for plastic (usually the bartender will ask if you look like you are dressed for the pool area). But you can get a drink at Hearthstone in a glass, then walk to the Lounge area, or the outdoor fireplace.
