We have stayed at GCH a few times now and have never seen anything listed at the hotel for the Lounge in the morning, maybe I've just missed it?

Any thoughts or suggestions for the Lounge are welcomed :) Our sons and their wife/so are joining us this trip and I'm sure more "Lounge" type drinks will be enjoyed ;)

Something suggested to me by a GCH tour guide that I plan to try: Have a drink in the bar of the Napa Rose. They also serve appetizers. That way you can enjoy the ambiance without the pricey dinner.

When the Hearthstone Lounge is full, I usually take my drink out to the lobby. There are great conversation areas where larger groups can enjoy visiting. The inside and outside fireplaces are another option. Third, you can take your drinks to the 5th (?) floor patio above the lobby and enjoy them with a view over the pools.

I still need to check out that upper patio, the one time we ventured over there was a private party going on. Thanks for the reminder!

If you want to take the drink to the pool area, then you ask for plastic (usually the bartender will ask if you look like you are dressed for the pool area).

But you can get a drink at Hearthstone in a glass, then walk to the Lounge area, or the outdoor fireplace.

I recently took a wine glass from a casino up to our hotel room and I felt SO guilty. Now I realize that it's common. Soon they'll be stopping me from taking the bread basket because I'm not finished with the last roll :)
