Tony Baxter was/is supposedly on the project. It will supposedly be in or adjacent to the Pacific Wharf area, possibly where the last remnants of the non-FFF Bountiful Valley Farm area is now.

    Maybe.

From what I recall, all of those attractions were proposed but not officially confirmed. Kind of like DisneySea in Long Beach: they were "future" projects developed without any confirmed contruction timetable or specific opening date.

It has now been pushed back until cost and attraction issues are resolved and the original "e" ticket has been brought back to the front and is getting a big backing. If the huge expansion budget for DCA and the Disneyland resort(which is in the hundreds of millions) is approved "CARS" has will be first in line right after Midway Mania

I hope the cartoons wont interfere too much with the themeing. I wish they would theme it to an abandoned cannery (pixar connection) or down on the rought and tumble docks or something like that.

I have my own ideas for a film noir mystery attraction that takes place in red cars for this area. I am against the cartoon invasion but I guess I much rather see them in DCA over Disneyland.

It would/would have been built in an extended warf area. (ironically the original concpet for DCA had a larger warf area with a bit more detail)
The area would have been extended into the unused farm area. It would have taken over the farmers merket as well as the eating area and the farmers buildings that were never used and a bit extended into the timon lot with a possible walkway eventually connecting it to TOT courtyard (finally creating a loop for the park)

CARS origial concpet would have been an indoor outdoor attraction that would have been located in the far east corner of the park right behind TOT with a new extended land with more attraction pads, shops, and eateries.

The project is still in development and changing
