Generally it's a light snowfall, and usually only once or twice per year. But every so often we get lucky and get two or three inches of snow that sticks around for a day or two.

I've found an answer to the snowblower problem. Buy a personal plow (Manual and lower profile). It saves a lot of time on the blowing. :)

I'm just guessing though our Dell expert here (And I'm now a fan of the XPS she'll be happy to hear) probably also enjoyed watching people drive in the first snow fall of the year. It always amazes me how many people seem to forget how to drive in the snow from year to year :)

Now is the snow still there? and if it is please tell us is it still white?

I missed our only snow so far this year, I was in Jamaica, but would love some Christmas week, you know once I've finished work and wouldn't have to drive in it LOL!

Driving in snow is fine, remember slow down. Ditch those All-Seasons (well unless you enjoy drifting and fishtailing).

Ok Labuda do you even own:

    a. extensible snowbrush (or 2)
    b. Ice scraper
    c. engine block heater
    d. traction aid
    e. lock de-icer
    f. wool cap and gloves
    g. seat heaters

If you ever decide to move south like I have remember to always have 2 snow brushes in your vehicle. It helps when your passenger also has the privlege of clearing your windows.

Of course I advise clearing your hood and the area in front of the grill. It helps speed the heating of the interior.

On the bright side. Mountain High ski resort opened today with artificial snow. Now we can at last ski in the am and surf in the pm again.

likely very true - nothing like having to wear a parka with your halloween costume to ruin the effect

<I've found an answer to the snowblower problem>

Don't hire Joe Sakic to help out

Anyhow, wow to what you said Pixie - when I lived in the Metroplex as a kid, snow was not an every year thing for us!

Down here in central TX, it's intermittent at best. I think I saw a tad bit of snow in 2005, but don't quote me on that.

1985 was GREAt, though. January. San Antonio. TWELVE INCHES STUCK! I got to sled, and make a snowman, and a snow angel. Loads of fun! Plus, no school for 3 days while we waited for it to melt! :)

Ice storms are more common down here in the Austin area.

I think Ann should go to Ill. just so vb can throw a snowball at her :)
