    I have negative feelings toward the word "tock".

    When I first started posting, Tiggirl and peeaanuut -- and then more and more people -- used "tock" a lot. I didn't understand it for the longest time. I assumed it was a hip-hop term that I was just too uncool to know. It made me feel... stupid. old. out of it. Then I figured it out and felt relieved but REALLY stupid.

    Now I like it when people tell me I "tock", but I still get a flash of "You're dumb!" when I see it. That association is fading, though.

    I've wanted to admit this for a long time. Thanks for a great thread, ThreeUnderTwo!
