    1. Minnie ,walking up and hand feeding a spoonful of baby food to a surprised baby at Magic morning breakfast at the Plaza. So Adorable!
    2. While waiting for the Matterhorn, saw this cute young girl with big brown curly hair running around in her blue P.J's..turns out to be Wendy with Captain hook running after her close behind. She grabs a hand of a young boy who started running around in circles! Too funny!
    3. Lastly, Minnie mouse dancing "Dance Dance Revolution" in the Star Arcade. Also very cute!
What are some of your Magic moments?

ORDDU: Plus the precious memories of one young man, in particular, who is no longer with us--in this life--whom we have shared so many wonderful experiences with in the past--such as visiting Tom Sawyer Island in the early 90's to just sit around feeding the ducks.

ORWEN: Or all those time's we would meet at the foot of the Train Station in Town Square for a Summer's evening look at the Main Street Electrical Parade--and all the sweet goslings who gathered around us--

ORGOCH: --some a which actually made it back home without bein' kidnapped by the likes a yerselves!!

ORDDU: (Ahem!) Anyway, Disneyland has always been our favorite place to meet our wonderful character friends--as well as friends who were characters in their OWN right!

At about 4PM on this wonderful day, we were walking on Main Street near the Hub and saw the Queen of Hearts chasing a boy (about age 10 or 11) around in front of the Photo Store--whatever precipitated the chase is anybody's guess--The boy's baseball cap flew off, the Queen grabbed the cap and put it on her head and began to walk away.....when, here came the boy begging for his hat back. I saw him mouth the words "I'm Sorry" (for whatever his malfeaseance was), but the Queen offered her hand and the boy had to kiss her hand before she returned the cap.....My daughter and I laughed until we cried.

    A memory to keep forever.

Another time when my girls were 9 we played Red Rover with the Mad Hatter, Alice,Tweele dee & dum, and the queen. That was very fun.

It made my daughter's entire trip!

But i would go back every now and then and make sure they were having a great time. They were one of those families you wanted to make sure that their vacation was magical. well after noticing that they had no autographs, and got one of these magical moment cards that we give to guests that help us open the restuarant with the characters for dinner, and i gave it to one of the character hosts, who i knew very well, and asked her if she was able to get as many of the characters in the restuarant as possible for this fun family. we had about five characters and we were able to get four of the five. Then i put it in a disney world bag, and included little boxes of pixie dusts that we, the CMs make to give to guests. And when they were leaving, i told them for having such a great disney spirit, i had a little suprise for them, and gave them their goodie bag. They were so happy to see what was inside and told me that this just made their trip. It was so awesome just to be able to do that for a guest :)

I have several, one my son (8 at the time) was waiting patiently for Minnie and kids kept running up and jumping in front of him. Finally, Minnie walked over to him, gave him a big hug, took his hand and paraded him all over tommorowland and down into the hub with her.

Another was when my same son (age 10 this time) lost his wallet somewhere. We checked at the end of the night at lost and found and they had it. When he opened it there was a note from the CM's at the Golden Horseshoe telling how much they enjoyed having him and they left a smashed penny in it for him. His face was so full of wonder.

Another one is actually from my sister. She and her family were at the park and had the hand held walkie-talkies. My sister was checking in with her daughter who said she was on the trolley on mainstreet and suddenly the thing was taken from her daughter and the Cruella had it and was telling my sister how she had the kids and wanted puppies (or something to that affect) for them. It was so funny.

Then he looked to me and said

Granny ~ Thanks for bringing me to Disneyland.

Ohhh I could have cried. I had made him so happy.

Yes right now he is my favorite DL partner out of all my 3 grandbabies.

I actually have 4 - but she is only 2 months. I can hardly wait to take her to see Mickey for the first time.

When my son was 9, I had a hard time getting him to go on INDY ride. He wasn't happy during the wait and really wasn't looking forward to it at all. Finally , right in the middle of the ride , he looks my way and while gripping on the hold bar in front of him for dear life he shouts out "Thanks mom for bringing me on this ride!" It is now one of his favorites! :) Made my day!

Anyway, he's walking into Disneyland for the first time at age 43 with his son, who's a teenager. As they were walking to the gates, this little girl (around 9) said to her mom, "We finally made it mom! We're at Disneyland!"

This huge hulk of a man hears that turns around and lifts his hand really high and says (in a very loud voice) "GIVE ME FIVE! I've been waiting my whole life for this!"

Everybody around him started laughing, including the girl.

I have a great experience I'd like to share....

My husband (boyfriend at the time!) and I were visiting Disneyland in 1987. When we entered the gates we took the right side entryway into Main Street...we always do for some reason. It was a very early summer morning and not too many people were swarming around Mickey and Minnie...yet! We stopped by just to take in the joy and wonder of the young ones meeting Mickey and Minnie...it’s a great way to start the day. We were watching Minnie lovingly entertain the kids when a little girl’s Mom mentioned to Minnie that her little girl is deaf. Minnie looked at the Mom and Dad then to their little girl, who couldn’t take her eyes off of Minnie. Minnie then looked at the little girl and signed “I Love You.†The little girl’s mouth hung open...and with great excitement looked between her Mom and Dad and Minnie. The little girl fell into Minnie’s arms and they gave each other big hugs. The little girl’s Mom started crying, and I started crying as I’m sure a lot of other people who witnessed that wonderful moment did as well. My husband was just so blown away by it. We talk of it often especially when we make our yearly pilgrimage to Disneyland. I know that the CMs, who are in character, are not allowed to speak, but to see Minnie use sign language blew me away! Special, so very special.

I will never, never, ever forget that magical morning. Nor will I ever forget how Minnie made that child feel so special and loved. I've got many other special memories of Disneyland, but this one will always stand out for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart to all who work or who have worked at Disneyland...you will never know how many lives you touch.

I got a great picture of it also (even in one of the murals at DL right now)

It was the 1st time my step dad had been to ANY theme park and the look on his face when he walked into DL was priceless. He had no idea what to expect and said he will come everytime we go - 71 more days YEAH
