Non-hotel guests can start making their reservations 30 days in advance, so you may have some luck there, but it's unlikely due to the limited number of FPs available (due to the inherently low overall capacity of any meet & greet).

Other than that, I'd recommend going first thing in the morning or late at night, when the crowds in the park are lower. If you have multiple days in MK or don't mind missing the fireworks, consider going during the show, since Fantasyland tends to be relatively empty during that time

DL recently did a test for a FP-like system for the Frozen M&G, where you go there first thing in the morning and get a card with a return time on it. You come back later in the day during your window, and have a minimal wait. As far as I know, they're still doing this rather than a regular queue, but they may have stopped

Also, be aware that the M&G has limited hours in DL, and there's only one meeting location (unlike MK, where the M&G is open from park opening to closing and has multiple rooms), so there's a lot less flexibility for meeting them. I believe that they close down prior to the fireworks each night and do not reopen after

If there is an early entry that day for hotel guests, they won't give out return times until the park opens for regular guests (same for normal FPs), but people may be queued up for it before you get there

And if you don't get a return ticket, you can always watch them go by in the pre-parade, which goes down the parade route about 5-10 minutes before the regular parade (it may only happen once a day, so check the times guide)

As soon as you are let in the park go as fast as you can to the hub. The Frozen line is to the left near Frontierland/Adventureland. You'll see a cast member with a sign. The first 40 in line will be taken back to the meet and greet before rope drop. The rest will be taken to a separate line to be given a return time. If you will be there long enough you might want to do this later in the trip so you can have a chance to observe the procedure before you do it.
