Missing Messages

Well once again I've had the unfortunate opportunity to test the daily backup of the discussion boards. Due to a database corruption, all the messages in the DL:General section disappeared at some point this evening. I've restored the messages from last night's backup, but all messages posted since then are gone. Any new topics created today are also gone.

In addition, new message counters for everyone in DL:General have had to be reset, so all messages will show as new messages.

Again, I sincerely apologize for this occuring. I'm working to solve the problem once and for all. We're also upgrading to a new server and a newer version of the database software shortly which may also help.

I'm going to close this topic here and post this same message in LP:General if anyone wants to respond.
